Join us for a Beto O'Rourke /Cruz debate watch party and comedy showcase to benefit SAFE, a local organization that provides support to victims of sexual and domestic abuse. Come watch the debate, cheer on El Paso’s own, Beto O’Rourke and his vision for the future of Texas, and laugh at Ted Cruz’s feeble attempt to appear human. Keep the laughs going with an all-woman comedy showcase afterward. 

Admission is a $5 suggested donation or any item from the list below. We'll be showing the debate on the projector, followed by a stand up showcase featuring some of the funniest women in Austin! We'll also be raffling prizes from some of your favorite east side haunts like The Brixton, The Liberty, King Bee, 8 Track, and more!

SAFE Shelves In-Kind Needs

Our largest need is often new clothing, pantry foods, regular sized hygiene items, baby wipes and diapers, and gift cards. 

Many people come to SAFE with very few, if any, possessions. Community donations help provide basic needs, clothing, and household items to assist survivors and their families.

Please consider making a gift of new items from our wish list or provide gift cards to fill gaps in need. Some options include:
